Hazmat Training Created by Hazmat Shippers for Hazmat Shippers.

Compliance is about more than just choosing the correct packaging. The Department of Transportation requires hazmat employees to be trained and certified every 2 years for Air / IATA, and every 3 years for Ground / 49 CFR and Ocean / IMDG. Our courses are perfect for both initial and recurrent certification.

Unlimited Customer support

ChemTranUSA has been an industry leading DG shipping company since 1993, and we are committed to customer support. We know that 2-3 years is a long time, that's why all our training options come with unlimited customer support for as long as your certification is valid. Call or email anytime with questions - Chemtran's team is here for you.

Online Hazmat Training

Chemtran USA is proud to offer online training at HalfDayHazmatTraining.com. Inspired by the training provided to our staff of Dangerous Goods Specialists, this fully animated course provides full certification within 3 hours, or can be completed at your convenience. Procedure-based learning provides real shipment examples from start to finish. Each example becomes more complex to provide a extremely diverse knowledge base, while providing a solid process foundation.

Our courses are fully animated and uniquely interactive.  Forget about reading PDFs or clicking through PPT presentations.  Our courses cover General Awareness and Familiarization, Safety, Security, and Function Specific.  Upon completion, you will be fully certified to ship Dangerous Goods by Air, Ground, and Sea.

Instructor Led Training

Our knowledgeable instructors bring their decades of shipping experience to the classroom. Available 'onsite' at Chemtran USA's classroom in Houston, or 'offsite' at your facility. Courses are available for Ground, Air, and Ocean certification. Each course offers full certification in one day!

Onsite: Our classroom's maximum capacity of 15 trainees ensures each participant gets the attention needed to understand the regulations and complete the job functions more efficiently. We tailor the course to the participants, and encourage them to bring examples of their SDS's.

Offsite: We bring the training to your facility - anywhere in the country. Our instructor will customize the course to represent the products your company is preparing, inspecting and shipping. Multi-day trainings are available for large groups or multi-modal requirements.
